Young player lost to cancer.

Zamaretto League Division One South & West club Uxbridge are extremely sad to announce the passing away of one of their most popular players in recent years – Ian Dickens, aka `Tizer`, who lost his brave battle against cancer earlier this week.

Ian was just 29 years old and made his competitive debut for Uxbridge at home to Paulton Rovers on August 19th 2006, which was also manager Tony Choules first match in charge for the Reds.

Ian joined Uxbridge from Blue Square South side Basingstoke Town and his former clubs included Kingstonian, Fleet Town and Bracknell Town.

On behalf of everyone at Paulton Rovers we send Ian's family our condolences.
