Match report from Gareth Wright

Mark Evans' Paulton sealed their third win within a week with a conformable three nil victory over a resilient Easton and Gordano side.

Paulton deservedly went one nil up when persistent attacking play saw Gareth Wright bought down in the box leaving the referee no option other than a penalty. Wright sent the keeper the wrong way to open the scoring.

Paulton’s persistency created many opportunities and only several outstanding saves from the Easton Keeper prevented further goals from Kirk Lathem, Ryan Cleverley and the hard working Ben Mines. However Paulton soon went two up when from a Matt Crew corner Dan Flower out jumped his marker to head home in the top right hand corner.

With ten minutes to go a defence splitting pass from Jason Tugwel sent Wright free who coolly finished to make it three. Paulton’s defence of Collier, Jack Wyatt and Blaine Nolan gave the visitors very few opportunities throughout the game however in the 90th minute Paulton’s keeper, Courtney Redwood reacted superbly to deny the visitors a consolation goal and maintain his third clean sheet in a row.

Man of the match: Dan Flower
