Bath City legend agrees to join Rovers ahead of Tuesday night's game.

Manager Andy Jones is pleased to announce he has agreed to sign Bath City legend, Martin Paul after discussions with City's management team of John Relish and Adie Britton.

Martin joins on a dual registration (with City always having first call on his services), non-contract basis. Joner hopes to complete the paperwork in time to add the name of Bath City's second top scorer in their history to the squad for Tuesday's visit to Cinderford Town (ironically managed by John Relish's son!).

It will obviously be a huge boost to Rovers as they look to press for promotion for a third successive season and for the player and Bath City it will ensure he retains his match fitness and sharpness should John Relish need to recall him to Twerton Park.

Martin has played for a number of local clubs and Rover's fans will recall his record breaking goal came against us in last season's replayed Somerset Premier Cup Final at Twerton Park.
