ImageANDREW JONES – FIRST TEAM MANAGER ‘Joner’ a Paulton player of many years joined local rivals Radstock Town for 3 successful seasons.  Returned to Paulton as player/manager for the reserves after leading the reserves to cup success and promotion to Somerset County Premier Division, Joner was appointed first team manager and has proved to be the Club’s most successful manager having claimed the runner’s up position in the league and taken the Club to successive Somerset Premier Cup finals. However his greatest achievement came last season taking Rovers to the 1st Round of the FA Cup for the first time in their history where they were eventually beaten by Norwich City, a game shown live on ITV.

ImagePAUL MILSOM – ASSISTANT FIRST TEAM MANAGER Paul brings a wealth of experience to Rovers having been appointed caretaker manager at local rivals, Mangotsfield United in March 2008. Against the odds in a spirited end of season performance they managed to avoid relegation from the Premier Division. Paul was subsequently given the manager's role along with his new assistant, Spencer Thomas. However budget cuts meant the 2009-10 season was a struggle and eventually they both stood down. Having once thought his playing days might be at and end through injury, Paul made an impressive comeback in the heart of defence for Almondsbury Town where he made 19 appearances scoring 5 times. Paul previous clubs as a player were Bristol City, Bath City, Tiverton Town, Chippenham and of course Mangotsfield United.
ImageMARK HARRINGTON – COACH “Harry” returns to Rovers this season after a brief and highly successful period as manager of Toolstation neighbours, Welton Rovers, the highlight of which was a victory in the final of the Somerset Premier for the first time in the club’s history. A combative midfielder who played for the club in two spells and is a former club captain.

ImageLEE WILLIAMS – PHYSIO Another new addition this season having spent the last five years at local rivals, Mangotsfield United where he joined from Brislington.

ImageIVY SHERWOOD – Is a sports masseur currently undertaking a sports therapy and rehabilitation degree at the university of the West of England. Also works in a florists.

ImageCOLIN PARSONS - KIT MANAGER Another Paulton Legend! Colin has worked tirelessly for the club for many years and in many different capacities. His wicked sense of humour ensures the players not only turn out in the right kit but in the correct frame of mind.

ImageKYLE PHILLIPS – 06/05/1989 Exciting young goal keeper, having progressed from Youth team and is now firmly established as the No 1 keeper.

ImageSTUART TOVEY - 09/09/86  Another player who has come up through the ranks. Joined local rivals Welton Rovers after a successful loan spell. The Toolstation Western League club converted him from a midfielder to a right back.
 
ImageCHRIS LANE- 23/08/1984 “Laner” joined from Mangotsfield having also played for Bishop Sutton and Brislington. Another left sided player he played over 100 times for the Mangos scoring 13 goals (unlucky for some!).

ImageDAN CLEVERLEY – 21/04/1983 ‘Clevs’ a nippy striker who has dropped back into midfield. He signed from Bath City and scored a hat trick on his Paulton debut against Bideford Town, in the well remembered 4-3 victory.  Dan is a car mechanic and can be seen driving the streets with his soft top own!  Appointed Club Captain.

ImageJOSH JEFFERIES - 02/02/1983 Now in his second spell with the club having played previously with Bath City, Chippenham Town and Swindon Supermarine. Josh is a midfield player with a definite eye for goal having provided some memorable moments with spectacular strikes.

ImageROB CLARIDGE - 13/03/1980 “Luggage” joined last season from Mangotsfield and was a proven goal scorer both at Cossham Street and previous clubs, Weston-Super-Mare, Clevedon Town and Brislington so it was no surprise he won the Club’s Golden Boot in his first term . Also played at Highbury for Bristol Rovers against the Arsenal.
 
ImageOLLIE PRICE – 12/09/1982 Joined from Chippenham Town, Ollie spent a month at Winterfield Road when on loan from another of his previous clubs, Mangotsfield United. He began his career at Bristol City.

ImageALEX BALL – 08/08/1981 Vastly experienced central defender who joined from Premier Division, Mangotsfield United last season where he was formerly club captain. Alex now works with Bristol City Youth Academy.

ImageCOURTNEY REDWOOD -18/02/1989  Paulton born and bred Redders has come through the youth development to be regular Reserve team keeper. His ambition is to displace his friend Kyle Phillip as Paulton's No 1. Works for Geoff Thomas Ltd. (one of the clubs great sponsors).

ImageCHARLIE RICH - 30/06/1987 Charlie hails from Bedminster Down and signed from Western League Brislington having been on the books of Bristol Rover Acadamy. He won nine England under 18 schoolboy caps.

ImageCRAIG BURCHILL - 22/04/1993 Craig is the baby of the side hails and lives in Nailsea. A great prospect who will continue to learn and develop through the youth squad. Currently working in the family business prior to returning to full time education.

ImageBEN LACEY - 30/05/1991 Ben captained the youth team to the Somerset Floodlit Youth League Championship finishing up the league’s highest scorer with 32 goals. Born in Bristol he has lived all his life in Shepton Mallett. He is currently working part time in retail whilst he contemplates returning to full time education.

ImagePHILIP WATERS – 02/11/1987 – Another new addition to the squad. Phil was on Southampton’s books until a knee injury saw him released. Plays in midfield and has recently moved to Bath where he is a student.

ImageMATTHEW COOPER – 07/09/1987. Striker. Currently a student at Bath University. Joined Rovers from Blue Square South, Weymouth.

ImageLEE MARSHALL – 20/05/1988. In his second spell with the club. Left Rovers at the end of the 2007/8 season to join Gloucester City where he helped them to win the play offs and see them promoted to the Blue Square Conference North. Was voted City’s Player’s Player of the Season.

ImageBEN CLEVERLEY – 12/09/1981 ‘Clevs’ was Andrew Jones' first signing for the club. He was previously a full time professional with Bristol City, Cheltenham Town and Forest Green Rovers.  Made 22 league appearances for Cheltenham Town in the 2002/03 campaign.  Joner persuaded Ben to join his brother Dan at the club. Last season Ben joined Tiverton Town and later transferred to Weston Super Mare but has now returned for second spell with Rovers.

ImageCRAIG LOXTON – 14/09/1984 New recruit this season, Craig is an attacking midfielder who joins from Clevedon Town. Craig began his career at Bristol City where he was a professional for 4 years before joining Forest Green Rovers. He was a member of the Clevedon Town promotion-winning side of 2005/06 but then left to join Weston-super-Mare, becoming club captain in 2007.

ImageJACK ALLWARD – 18/12/1986 Jack has committed to Rovers after several impressive displays in pre season friendlies. He is a former Bristol City defender who has linked up well with Chris Lane down the left side. He has had two spells at Mangotsfield United interspersed with a move to Halesown Town.

ImageDAINE O’CONNOR – 29/08/1984 Another ex Mangotsfield player, Daine, has signed after scoring in preseason friendlies against Shepton Mallet and Radstock Town. He originally joined United on loan from Bristol Rovers and has also played at Clevedon Town and Bitton.

ImageJOE BRADLEY – 20/01/1993 Talented young striker who is looking to step up from the Under 18 side.

ImageCALLUM HART - 21/12/1985 Another new signing this season, Callum is a vastly experienced defender who has played league football with Bournemouth but spent last season at Blue Square South, Weston Super Mare.
