Thursday 1 October 2009 K-O 7-30 p.m. SOMERSET FLOODLIT LEAGUE CUP 1st ROUND Also fixtures round up for the next week. Match report to follow. This game was abandoned after twenty minutes on 21 September following a serious injury to Rovers central defender Tom Smith when the score was 0-0. Thankfully Tom's fractured ankle and torn ligaments are on the mend, but he will obviously be unavailable for many weeks. Manager Dave Neil will be keen to strive for a win against strong oppositio. Tiverton only league game a 5-1 home win against Keynsham Town. Paulton team from -Ross Whittock, Sean Brittan, John Smith, Ben Chapman, George Thomas, Billy Cooper, Kieran Goodwin, Martin Lenihan, Rob Scoot, Ryan Allan, Jack Mounty, Scott Bowers, Alex Docherty, Jack May, Will Hailston, Ian Parnel, Craig Burchil. The FA have notified Paulton that Radstock Town played a number of unsigned players when they beat Rovers 5-3 in last week's FA Youth Cup First Qualfying Round Round. Paulton will play Gloucester City at Winterfield Road on Tuesday 6 October 2009 K-O 7-30 p.m. Please note FA rules mean we have to charge £2 for adults and £1 for OAP/Children (no concessions) for this match. The youth team game at home to Tiverton Town on Thursday 7 October will now be rearranged. The same night the first team are due to play Welton Rovers at West Clews in the Somerset Premier Cup 1st Round K-O 7-45 p.m. However that match will be also deferred if the 1st Qualifying Round FA Trophy gameat Windsor & Eton on Saturday needs a reply which will be at Winterfield Road on Monday 5 October K-O 7-30 p.m or Welton need to replay Saturday's FA Vase match against Keynsham Town.. |
