Early return for Ben Cleverley?
Rovers will open their FA Cup campaign against Toolstation Western League opposition with a home tie in the Preliminary Round on Saturday 29th August against either Wellington Town or Bideford. The winners will then have a home game in the 1st Qualifying Round on Saturday 17th of September against Zamaretto Premier Division, Tiverton Town which would see last season's Vice Captain, Ben Cleverley return to Winterfield Road against brother, Dan. In the FA Trophy, which is a competition Rovers have traditionally struggled in, they travel to last season's play off semi finalists, Windsor & Eton on Saturday 3rd of October. The reward for the winners is a trip to Midland Division club, Evesham Town on Saturday 17th of October. Rovers have been given a bye in the Preliminary Round of the FA Youth Cup and will host neighbours, Radstock Town, in the 1st Qualifying Round to be played in the week commencing the 21st of September. |
