Rovers downed

Paulton struggled to progress in this season's BGB Southern League beaten 4-2 in an entertaining encounter at Winterfield Road.

Rovers went 3-0 down after the visitors grabbed a fair share of luck, before Paulton pulled one back just before the interval.

Rovers keeper Phil Smale was dismissed for hand ball outside the area and shortly afterwards Town added a fourth.

Paulton who on the balance of play deserved more reduced the deficet midway through the second period but could not add to the score.
